Barack Obama's Interview on 60 Minutes.

In last night's 60 Minutes interview, Obama spoke about the economy, the bail-out plan, and the foreclosures that many Americans are facing.

He said that he feels his job as President will be, in part, to restore the public's confidence in the financial markets. Without this, the economy will continue to struggle to recover.

Obama said they do plan to get a dog, although why it is a Presidential requirement to have a dog is beyond me.

Michelle Obama hopes to aid military families, and improve the public education system, during her time as First Lady.

Obama also said that he has been reading alot about FDR and his adminstration during the Depression. He said that FDR had a common-sense approach that is what the people of the United States are looking for from his presidency as well.
